Hello! My name is Erin, I am 22 years old and I am a level 3 Qualified early years practitioner with over 3 years experience in nurseries. I have worked 1:1 with children who have a range of special educational needs and disabilities. I will be starting my Masters in Applied Child Psychology in September 2024, after which I am hoping to work as an Educational Psychologist.  My goals are to improve the communication between the early years sector and the government to ensure appropriate provisions are being set to support children with SEND and their families. The current landscape shows just how little the government cares about the staff in the early years and this needs to change.  I'd also like to learn how to create a welcoming, inclusive and accessible environment for children with a range of needs, and educate parents on how to create this environment at home for their children.  I am keen to learn and would love to hear your opinions and thoughts on various topics.
