SENSORY AND/OR PHYSICAL NEEDS

This course looks at sensory and/or physical needs including supporting children and young people with vision impairment, hearing impairment, multi-sensory impairment and physical disability. The course provides an overview of the impact these sensory and physical needs might have on children and young people and their learning opportunities.  The modules in this course are:  Vision impairment Multi-sensory impairment (MSI) Physical disability Hearing impairment The modules in this course have been reviewed by Ros Davies, QTVI, @Hester Richardson, Programme Lead Education of Children with Multi Sensory Impairments at the University of Birmingham, Dr Helen Chilton, Senior Lecturer in Deaf Education at the University of Manchester, @Lindsey Jones, Senior Lecturer in Deaf Education at the University of Manchester, and Elaine Colquhoun, former director of nasen.
