I'm Ellie, Director at Square Peg. We're a social impact community interest company established to raise awareness and effect change on behalf of children facing barriers to attendance and accessing education and learning.

We work nationally on policy, practice, research, campaigns, lobbying. We are rooted in the voices of lived experience - parents, carers, children and young people - to drive improvement, inclusion, equality and diversity within all systems families encounter.

We are passionate about co-production, wellbeing, mental health and happiness and offer consultancy and training.

Our book, Square Pegs, launched in Feb 2023 and hit the Top 100 of all books on Amazon within 24hrs of publication. It is currently on its 3rd print run, is an Amazon Best Seller and Most Wished For title and has been recommended by the National Children's Bureau to the DfE as core reading.

Hello there

Hello everyone Good to be here. I'm Ellie, Director at Square Peg. We work to raise awareness and effect change on behalf of all children experiencing barriers to attendance and access to education. We are currently delivering training on attendance difficulties and understanding the landscape from children and families' perspectives. We have a new book out on inclusion, compassion and relationships. We focus on wellbeing, mental health, pastoral and SEND leadership and support. :)
