Hi everyone on the SEND Network
Hi all, I’m Elle Courtonel, Marketing Manager at TG Escapes.
SEND has been a constant part of my life. My brother is autistic, and growing up with him gave me a very real understanding of how much the right environment can affect a persons day - from how settled they feel to how well they’re able to engage. That experience has stayed with me and influenced my career and how I think about spaces.
In my role, I work across marketing within construction which focuses on SEND-focused design and building. I’m involved in communicating how projects take shape and understanding the thinking behind design decisions, working closely with colleagues across different parts of the business.
I’m here to contribute where it’s useful, but mainly to listen and learn. The people working directly with students every day hold the most valuable insight, and I’m looking forward to hearing different perspectives and being part of the conversations within The SEND Network.
