How do you help Subject Leaders engage with and be more accountable for the progress of learners with EHCPs?
My Subject Leaders are fantastic but often consider an EHCP as a reason why a student may not achieve their potential. I want to help them to all become leaders of SEN within their subjects. I have developed a Student Intervention Plan that follows person centred planning techniques and have asked the following questions: What are their barriers to progress in your subject, what is going to be done at a subject level and who will do it and a review for our next core team meeting in a few weeks. Has anyone had any success with something similar or any suggestions on how I can achieve my question?
