SEND Network are proud partners of the British Assistive Technology Association (BATA) who have recently launched a new initiative - #TeachersForAT, which you can be part of right here on the Network. This article shares more details about the initiative and how to sign-up.
#TeachersForAT is a dynamic, nationwide initiative created exclusively for teachers, teaching assistants, and all education professionals who share our passion for enhancing access to AT in the classroom. It's your platform to make a difference in the lives of disabled students of all ages, to promote an inclusive, equitable learning environment.
#TeachersForAT is an initiative created by the British Assistive Technology Association (BATA) to support wider access to information, knowledge and community around the issues related to AT and education. BATA is a member organisation and is proud to support over 90 members from across the UK and abroad. BATA will endeavour to foster a collaborative platform where BATA members and the wider #TeachersforAT community can share experiences, learn critical insights, and forge exciting new ideas/partnerships to positively impact a brighter future for our students with disabilities.
