Let’s make the possible, possible: enabling environments

We talk about the term enabling a lot when it comes to environments within early years: how to create one, how to plan for one and what is required to make it a safe space for children.  But do we know what this really looks like but more importantly, what it feels like, especially for our neurodivergent children and how do we ensure we create that safe space for everyone? In this session, Cheryl will respond to these questions and much more.

Learning outcomes:

  • Supporting a deeper understanding and acceptance of our exceptional children, their strengths and their understanding of their behaviours
  • How to provide an enabling environment that embeds values of belonging and connection for all, enabling them to thrive.
  • How we can create a culture of neuro affirming practice within our settings
