Improving the quality & consistency of EHCPs & IDPs

The quality & consistency of EHCPs is recognised as an area of challenge in England. Invision360 have created software that is now utilised by more than 60 LAs in England to quality assure EHCPs and the impact data is powerful (significant increases in quality & consistency of plans in LAs using the software). I am keen to explore if the same issues are relevant in Wales with regards to IDPs? Do councils / LAs in Wales have consistent approaches to ensuring the quality & consistency of IDPs? Is there standardised criteria to QA IDPs against? Ae schools / settings happy with the quality of IDPs? If anyone has any experience of IDPs or the Wales ALN system, I would be really interested to hear your views......
