Hi all - I've been on this for a while, but just not had the opportunity to engage with it as to yet.  I am an Assistant Director for Student Experience with a specialism in SEND - at south and city college, Birmingham.  I have been with the college some 11 years.   I have responsibility of monitoring and managing teams of LSCS and coordinators/ TAs/ Dyslexia and overall cross college management of additional learning support. I am  also part of the designated safeguarding managers team.  it would be great to network with similar processionals, share ideas, concerns, and resources. are there any local networking groups? I hear there are, and yet i have yet to receive information or invitation to participate.
