Building characteristics that make a difference
Hi all,
I'm an architect delivering education settings in the SEND sector. I'd love to hear from anyone with hands on experience working with SEND students what building characteristics they have found to be useful/critical/terrible. These could be the general - room sizes/proportions, useful room adjacencies, accommodating special provisions (like considering the parents as part of the school community), or it could be about the specifics: acoustics, lighting, wayfinding, colour/patterns, room/building thresholds... Thanks,
Caspar
