About Julie

Julie Pointer is a qualified social worker and current programme lead at the National Development Team for Inclusion who has worked to improve opportunities for people with SEND for many years. She advocates for inclusion at every level by ensuring that young people with disabilities have the same opportunities as their non-disabled peers.

As programme lead for children and young people at NDTI, she runs the Internships Work programme to get more young people with additional needs into supported internships and ultimately into the world of work.
