Following news of the planned rail strike on Saturday 8 October, we are pleased to confirm that the Tes SEND Show will go ahead as planned. With the early notice of the strike, we hope everyone can plan ahead and make alternative arrangements.

Here are some helpful suggestions to minimise disruption to your journey on Saturday 8th October:

  • Planning ahead and allowing plenty of time to get to the Show
  • London Underground Services will be running as normal and will not be affected by strike action, though may be busier than usual. Angel Tube station is nearest and is just a short walk away from the BDC.  You can plan ahead by using the TfL Journey Planner to access the best journey to the venue
  • Check with local colleagues / schools and education settings to see who else is coming to Tes SEND Show and arrange group travel. We have arranged free minibus parking but please send us an email in advance if you would like to take advantage of this facility.
  • In addition to free minibus parking, organisers of Tes SEND Show, MA Exhibitions have negotiated free car parking on a first come, first served basis for visitors to the Show on Saturday 8th October only. To claim your free car parking space please collect a chip coin on entry to the car park and ask for this to be validated FOC at the reception desk of the BDC before they leave. (Please note: should the rail strike be cancelled, car parking fees will revert to normal (please see Business Design Centre Car Parking website). We would like to take this opportunity to thank the management of the BDC for their continued support of Tes SEND Show).

We are really looking forward to welcoming you to the Tes SEND Show and we hope you are as excited as we are to be celebrating our 30th anniversary of the show!
