We wanted to share an upcoming free online training session from CAYP Psychology that may be of interest to school staff and leaders across the SEND community.

πŸ“… Thursday 16th April
⏰ 4:15–5:15pm
πŸŽ“ Supporting Teachers to Manage the Most Difficult Aspects of Their Work: A Compassionate Mind Approach

This session will be led by Dr Murewa Akintola, Chartered Clinical Psychologist, alongside Ruby Cole, Assistant Psychologist and former classroom teacher. Together, they’ll explore a psychologically informed approach to understanding and supporting the emotional demands placed on educators.

The session will cover:
β€’ The emotional load of working in schools and supporting children and young people
β€’ Practical approaches to support regulation and reduce burnout
β€’ Ways to feel more supported and connected within your role and wider school system

There will also be an opportunity to submit questions in advance, helping to shape the session around real challenges faced in schools today.
