EHC plans are only as good as the advice that informs them, which means that those contributing statutory advice and assessment reports should avoid some common mistakes to ensure advice is comprehensive, clear and relevant. However, there are also many ways that plan writers themselves can impact on the quality of a plan, regardless of the advice provided.
